Hiking in the Blue Ridge mountains on a beautiful river trail.
Rose River Falls

Taking a break

The fawn was trying to be so still so we wouldn't see it. Really cute.

We came around a corner on the trail and there was a MAMA BEAR and two cubs!!

After they crossed mama sent the cubs up a tree.

She was a little scary but the cubs were sure cute!!
Hope you like the videos!

We really enjoyed Sarah and Scott's visit in June, it was so great having them here!
We wish we could have everyone come see us!
This is up in the mountains over looking the Shenandoah valley.

Ice Cream Fun at Grandma and Grandpa's

Home made Ice cream on a warm day...nothing better.

I think more got on the kids than in them.
Indy got her fill too...and a bath.

Oh my how'd we get here, I guess I have Georgia on our mind. Since we're so close maybe we could go by Atlanta...

New Orleans - French Quarter What does this remind you of? :)

The back of his apartment, it's fenced too! I think they put the missionaries in gated apartments to protect them from sneaky parents like us.

Hey - we didn't know Scott lived in a gated community!

This is his street. What if he sees us!

Scott's McDs ... Wow, we're almost there!

Stone Mountain, GA and home made Georgia snow.
Sunset on the Gulf of Mexico near Boloxi.

Dad infront of the Voodoo shop on Bourbon Street.

After a great visit with Grandma we ventured on to parts south and east...

The Alamo was very impressive - Dad has always wanted to see it.

I guess it was really a 'hot tub' party!

Swimming and pizza party at the hotel. Grandpa made it so fun bring in the SNOW!
